About Dr. Dexter

Dr. Julia Dexter - a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico - is thrilled to be back in the West to train in gynecologic oncology at the University of Colorado. A non-traditional medical student, she came to medical school with an undergraduate degree in Women's Studies and a diverse employment history, including non-profit, fundraising, marketing, barista, wine shop, and a resale clothing store. Her interests in gynecologic oncology are many and include cervical dysplasia and how racism impacts disparate outcomes. She is looking forward to exploring Denver's thrift scene and the surrounding beauty of Colorado.
