About Dr. Persenaire

Dr. Christianne Persenaire is an incoming fellow in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Denver Health Medical Center. She is originally from Heemstede, the Netherlands, and grew up outside of the Philadelphia area. Dr. Persenaire completed her undergraduate studies in foreign service at Georgetown University and her medical education at New York University Grossman School of Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Northwestern McGaw Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, and is thrilled to make the move westward to continue her training in Denver.

Dr. Persenaire was drawn to a career in Gynecologic Oncology because it afforded the unique opportunity to practice as both a surgical and medical oncologist, as well as participate longitudinally and meaningfully in a patient’s care throughout her disease course and for many years thereafter. Her research interests include exploring molecular pathways underlying tumor metastasis and investigating and understanding healthcare disparities in gynecologic cancers.

During her time outside of the hospital, Dr. Persenaire enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her partner, Graham, and the remainder of her family.
