About Dr. Marjon
Nicole Marjon, MD, PhD, is a physician scientist who is passionate about both treating individual patients with compassionate care as well as developing new treatments for patients with gynecologic malignancies. She is dedicated to working collaboratively with her patients to ensure they receive the most up to date and evidence-based treatments that align with their values and goals. She provides comprehensive care including surgical and medical treatments for cancers and precancers of the ovary, uterus, cervix, vagina, and vulva as well as gestational trophoblastic disease.
Dr. Marjon received her medical degree (MD) as well as her graduate degree (PhD) at the University of New Mexico. She then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University and Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of California San Francisco.
Her passion to advance the field of gynecologic oncology stems from her care of patients and wanting to develop new and effective treatments for them. Her current research is focused on understanding and modifying the immune microenvironment in ovarian cancer with the goal of developing novel therapeutics. She collaborates with established physicians and scientists at the University of Colorado and across the country, who share the same purpose of improving treatment options for patients with gynecologic malignancies.
Dr. Marjon and her family love the outdoors and are looking forward to exploring their new home in Colorado.
