About Dr. Brubaker

Dr. Lindsay Brubaker, formerly Dr. Lindsay Wheeler, is dedicated to the care of women with gynecologic malignancies. She was drawn to the field driven by a desire to provide comprehensive care for her patients, including surgical and medical management, as well as on-going surveillance. Dr. Brubaker cares for women with cancers and precancers of the ovary, uterus, cervix, and vagina/vulva, as well as gestational trophoblastic disease.

Dr. Brubaker obtained her undergraduate and medical degrees at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. She then completed Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Stanford University and Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Colorado.

Dr. Brubaker is a compassionate physician and dedicated to the lifelong care of women with cancer. She takes pride in her collaborative approach to patient care, both engaging with patients and their families, as well as other providers. Dr. Brubaker strives to meet each patient where they are and provide evidence-based, personalized care.

Dr. Brubaker is also dedicated to research to advance the field of gynecologic oncology. She collaborates closely with the Gynecologic Oncology Research Group in translational efforts to overcome chemotherapy resistance in ovarian cancer. During her fellowship Dr. Brubaker obtained funding for her work from the American Cancer Society. Dr. Brubaker is also involved in clinical research with a particular interest in palliative care and medical education.

Dr. Brubaker practices out of the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and UCHealth Cherry Creek Medical Center.
