About Dr. Ehimiaghe

Ese Ehimiaghe, MD, is a fellow for the University of Colorado Division of Gynecologic Oncology. Originally from Needham, Massachusetts, Dr. Ehimiaghe completed her undergraduate education at the Northwestern University, obtaining her degree in Chemistry. She then pursued a career as a physician by receiving a medical degree from the Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. She is coming to us after finishing her OB-GYN residency at Northwestern McGaw Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, and is excited to move to Denver to continue her training. Dr. Ehimiaghe chose a career in gynecologic oncology because it offers a unique opportunity to provide surgical, medical, and palliative care to patients. She was also drawn to the field for the special relationships developed caring for patients and their families. Dr. Ehimiaghe's research interests include epigenetic alterations in endometrial cancer and disparities in access to care for gynecologic malignancies.
